Kemah, Texas – November_9, 2004 American International Industries, Inc. (OTCBB: AMIN) today announced that Northeastern Plastics, Inc. (NPI), a wholly owned subsidiary of AMIN, signed a license agreement to market the name "MOTOR TREND" for its automotive aftermarket products.

Marc Fields, President and COO of NPI, a leading supplier of automotive accessories and retail products to the automotive after-market and DIY marketplace, is very pleased with the new licensing agreement with MOTOR TREND Magazine, a division of Primedia, Inc. for the use of the MOTOR TREND name and logo on their entire NPI automotive after-market product assortment.
